Manhattan-based Insurance Company Makes List for Fastest Growing Private Companies in America
New York – September 12, 2014 – Schaefer Enterprises Inc., one of the largest Manhattan-based private insurance agencies, today announced its recognition as no. 1738 on the Inc. 5000 list for America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies. The Inc. 5000 list, now in its eighth year, is a comprehensive catalog of America’s fastest growing private companies. The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage of revenue growth over a four-year period. Additional criteria include the company being U.S.-based, privately held, and independent as of December 31st of the year prior to the list. Revenue for the company’s initial year needs to have been at least $200,000, while revenue in the most recent year needs to have exceeded $2 million. Schaefer Enterprises Inc. qualified for the list, posting a 240 percent increase over a three year period, netting over $6.6 million in revenue in 2013. The specific areas where Schaefer Enterprises Inc. demonstrated significant growth include: food service, urgent care and construction.
